It's always warm and lovely to come here. I continue to come here and support the local bookstore. They have a sales section which has NY bestsellers even. Then there is obviously the Mountain View library that's very close in case a book seems expensive. Highly recommend this over very robotic experience of buying a book online even if it costs a bit more.

From cover to cover this bookstore has a book for every age. In between the pages they offer cute gift items: calendars, toys, stuffed animals, cards, pens and puzzles. Don't hesitate to ask the knowledgeable bookworm staff to locate/recommend a book or three. Read between the lines at the sale rack or the fine print on their public notices board for upcoming author talks. Make sure to bookmark this place in any chapter of your life.

Participated in a fundraiser here. The staff is delightful. The shop has been acquired by Banes and Nobel. Everything is a little different from before but still very good.

This shop is full of inspiration for what to read next. The staff write little blurbs against several books and it helps me take a deeper look!

Books Inc. on Castro Street in Mountain View is a charming independent bookstore with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, making you feel right at home as you browse. They have a thoughtful selection of books for all ages, and the clearance section offers great deals on quality titles.

Excellent local bookstore with a great selection, really nice staff, local vibe in a convenient location, and prices are decent. I enjoyed my time browsing here and didn’t feel pressured to make a purchase since I really didn’t know what I wanted. I left with two books! They have a decent selection of various titles separated by genre. They have many of the recent best sellers laying on display in front.

What a delightful book store! It's so much bigger than you'd expect from the outside and chock full of great titles. Spotted brand new releases and great classic titles. Loved the staff recommendations table. So many options and they all looked fabulous! Friendly, welcoming staff made our visit a dream. Nestled among other shops and restaurants, this should be on your must-do list when in Mountain View.
